It's my second week of taking kefir and I'm in love with it. The results are amazing, now I'm more active and charged up. Also I feel so light from within, it's a drink I would recommend to everyone and anyone. It's a must for the lifestyle we are living and following at. I would really like for them to start it in Banaras as well where my mom who has arthritis, lives. She was here when I first ordered it and noticed a difference in as little as two 100ml doses! OUR STORY I, Abhimayu Singh Rathore, am an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from Institute of Integrative Nutrition, New York. I primarily brought kefir to India as I didn't find a suitable probiotic for my clients. As and when my clients started noticing significant and considerable improvements, I decided I would make this elixir available and accessible to all. I strongly believe in preventive healthcare. That's when, three years ago, I took the plunge to kick my corporate bucket and move back to India. Kefir is enjoyed as a fermented milk and non-milk based product by many different cultures worldwide... particularly in Europe and Asia. We sourced our kefir grains from Europe when we started our journey over two years ago. After tons of permutations and combinations of temperature, pressure, quantity, we have finally succeeded in making kefir in varying Indian temperatures, round the year. We have five different variants: SPRING-WATER KEFIR, COCONUT-WATER KEFIR, CINNAMON-COCONUT WATER KEFIR, A2-ORGANIC MILK KEFIR and ORGANIC GOAT-MILK KEFIR. Our kefir grains are our closest pet and we create each batch with a lot of love and positive energy, and utmost care to ensure the perfect environment for the kefir to develop.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KEFIR AND YOGURT? Kefir and yogurt might look similar, but what sets them apart is the way the two are cultured. Kefir is made from Kefir grains , which can be cultured at a very specific temperature range, has multiple strains of yeast and bacteria. Yogurt, on the other hand, has only bacteria and only one kind, for that matter, and it requires room temperature to be readied. Yogurt is made by mixing a spoonful of an old batch of yogurt to fresh, slightly warm milk. Kefir is made with the grains that multiply with every batch you make. Kefir has 30-40 different strains of bacteria compared to one in yogurt.
Kefir is a wonder drink.. In just two weeks of regular intake my skin is glowing like never before...My blood sugar has come under control and it decreases cravings..So my food intake has reduced and the good bacteria are working so well that my tummy too got reduced!! Two of my money plants at home hadn’t been flowering/growing/producing new leaves for months. Poured half a cup of kefir in each yesterday evening. Lo and behold! This morning there were new leaves in each!!!! If this is what it can do for plants that are drying - imagine what our kefir can do for the internal health of humans!!
